In March of 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, then 16-year-old Junior in high school and Eagle Scout, Brady Bank, visited Matrix Human Services to see how he could help. While there, he learned about the need for diapers and wipes, items that were selling off the shelves, making it even more difficult for families with children to get by. He decided then to began organizing a diaper and wipe donation-drive in his hometown near Plymouth / Canton.
A year later, he got to see the fruits of his labor.
After gathering donations for a year, he accumulated 10,000 diapers and pull-ups, as well as 9,000 wipes, which were all donated to Matrix Human Services and distributed on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 at our downtown Detroit office building.

This donation came at a great time when families are preparing some kids for back-to-school learning. Thank you Brady for your generosity and kindness!
